I have just recently installed 1400sqft of eastern hemlock flooring in a seasonal residence. The floor is sanded (120grit) and there are seams between the boards which I would like to fill before staining and applying the polyurethane coating.
My preference is to use oil-based penetrating stains and oil-based urethane.
Question: Is it recommended to use ZERO-FILLER (water based) with the sanding dust and then apply oil-based stain?
Thank you
