Wood Stains and Dyes

Stains are designed for coloring furniture, floors, woodwork, walls and ceilings as well as exterior wood surfaces. Water-based or alcohol-based stains should be covered with a finishing product (wax, oil, varnish, lacquer, or shellac), while oil-based stains usually do not require additional protection.
