Dewaxed Garnet Shellac is perfectly suited to enhance light wood and highlight fine woods like mahogany, rosewood and birdseye maple.

Also known as Cherry Shellac, its most common use is for the restoration of dark antique furniture. It is often used in combination with lighter shellac colors in order to prevent the finish from being too dark.

Dewaxed Garnet Shellac is an animal resin which must be dissolved in alcohol.
