What are some tips to follow when using a floor buffer to apply finishing oil to a floor?
Most wood floor Finishing Oils can be applied using a buffer with a white pad. Oils that need to be wiped after application are particularly well-suited for use with a buffer, as it spreads the oil evenly. However, it is important to remove any excess oil after using the buffer with a white pad (unless otherwise indicated, for example with some Osmo products). To avoid having to work on your knees to remove excess oil, you can place a white cloth under the White Buffer Pad and run the buffer over it, which will absorb the excess oil. Be sure to change the cloth when it becomes saturated with oil.
