Excellent service from Ardec

There was an issue with the colour code (Dulux's fault) but Ardec double checked with me and made sure the proper colour was sent out. The finish itself is very good. It sprays on nicely and dries very quickly. I haven't tried any touchups with this product but so far it is superior to any latex paint. This finish is the only product I would use on painted furniture pieces.
So far so good.

I've used this now in the 5000 primer and the 6500 lacquer with great results. It seems to have hardened the primer nicely where I can sand it smooth and there's still plenty of primer left even on rounded corners. (Obviously you can still sand right through it but it's quite resilient with careful sanding). I would watch a 10-15 minute YouTube video as I was mixing the cl100 a little bit at a time and continuously stiring just to make sure I was super slow and careful so as to avoid any issues. Used these combos on a painted stair railing project with awesome results.
Fits the right niche

It's hard to find information on what exactly the details of this hose are but it is essentially an antistatic hose with a cord ran through the inside of the hose. It's 27mm for about 2 feet then it increases to 30mm(?) for the remaining length. Expensive? Absolutely. They literally just cut off the European plug and attach a retrofit NA plug. But, I bought it for two main reasons: 1) I hated how the cord always gets wrapped around the hose when the two are separate. 2) I wanted to be able to tuck the vacuum into the corner and take my sander all over the shop to different sanding benches or around the job. I haven't noticed any lost of suction (bought the 10m version) for sanding and the quality appears to be as good or better than festool hoses. I'm glad I have it.

Excellent product for furniture. Very easy to apply and builds nicely. Best used without any stain for the most absorption into the wood. Buffed on walnut and it'll be a finish like you've never seen. As tough as a wipe on poly without the harsh fumes.
