Metal Railing Project

I purchased the Semi-Pro2 a few months ago to tackle an incredibly unpleasant project: painting approximately 400 linear feet of exterior railings. I attempted to do this with a mini roller and brush an realized after two hours of painting that I wasting a ton of time and not at all happy with the finish.
I've never used an HVLP system before so this was all new. After a few YouTube videos, I quickly got the hang of it and learned the importance of properly thinning the paint for this particular application. This tool made quick work of the project and improved the quality of the overall finish.
Key learnings: The whip hose and remote control is an absolute must. These are not nice-to-haves but rather critical to your efficiency, comfort, and safety. The whip hose gives you the maneuverability you need to keep your movements consistent while up on a ladder and in my case, sandwich between bushes. The remote provides extreme efficiency by eliminating unnecessary trips back to the machine for shut off/on.
For my application, I purchased an additional capset to support the viscosity of the material I was using. This is a phenomenal tool you and I will now use it for smaller projects like furniture builds and cutting boards. Incredible tool, extremely well built, well packaged, and easy to disassemble for cleaning. I'm currently considering the Mini-Mite 4.
