Great base coat.

Easy water cleanup of spray guns etc. A thicker consistency and harder surface than the top coats it seems to me. Sprays on easily in a light mottled pattern which prevents fisheyes etc. Very easy to use and seems to adhere decently to shellac bases. Using alcohol and pumice on a buffer you can actually pore fill mahogany or other open pored woods with a swirling motion once dry. The topcoats even more easily so.

I used this product as a pre-stain conditionner, by diluting 50/50 with water. It worked flawlessly.

I use it as a flake carrier, and as a carrier for candie dye. It's crystal clear, I can even spray through an airbrush, and it dries fast. No problem to then clear with EM6000.
