Homestead House Wood Stain

Homestead House Wood Stain is easy to use, dry rapidly in 20 minutes and can be used for interior as exterior.

Wood Stain is composed of the sames component of Milk Paint is. Wood Stain is VOC free, biodegradable, almost odorless and doesn’t contain synthetic products.

Directions of use

Preparation : Mix 1 part of powder with 2-3 parts of water. The quantity of water is proportional to the transparency of the final color.

Mix the powder in the water and stir well. For a better result, use an electric mixer.

Before applying, make sure to sand the wood surface with a 220 grit paper. This will prevent the wood fibers from lifting.

Application : Using a paintbrush, a cotton rag, or a roller, apply uniformly. Let dry for 30 minutes.

Before applying a finishing product, make a soft sanding with a 320 grit paper.

The Stain can be used under a milk paint to create a colored background.

Number of coats : 1 coat. It’s possible to apply many coats to darken the color.

Drying time : 20 minutes
