Easy and enjoyable to apply. I often shellac with a super blond then sand following with 3 coats for ash chairs.
Titebond Extend Wood Glue
Excellent product

Used with 5% cornstarch for bent laminations, extra working time is key.
Prefer over titebond 3 for this task
