I make solid-body, electric guitars, and I have looked long and hard to find a really good product for dry sanding on clear coat finishes. I often want to level sand in between coats to minimize wet sanding at the end and prior to buffing. This product works great and ensures you don't run the risk of stripping away the clear in spots, especially where there are small round-overs. This is now my go-to for this stage in finishing.

We refinish Kitchen Cabinets. We do a lot of hand sanding because of all the profiles and edges. We have been experimenting with a variety of different abrasives. This one comes out on top for our purposes. It’s comfortable to hold and conforms to any profile. The edges don’t on the paper and it allows us to sweep into crevices and tight spots with a perfect edge on the paper. Having abrasive on both sides is perfect for keeping a grip on the paper. We can sand flat spots with an open palm and little pressure and the paper stays in place. It also bounces back to same shape and rarely tears. This is perfect for our hand sanding.
