RMC Universal Maintenance Oil by Rubio Monocoat

RMC Universal Maintenance Oil is a product designed used to refresh wood treated with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C, as well as to revitalize surfaces not treated with Rubio Monocoat. The frequency of maintenance depends on the degree of stress on the surface.

RMC Universal Maintenance Oil nourishes the wood, gives it a fuller appearance (satin gloss) and improves its resistance to liquids.

It is recommended to apply this treatment just before the color of the treated surface fades. When the treated surface shows too much wear or too much damage or when color restoration is required, maintenance should be carried out with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in the original color.

Directions of use

This product may NOT be diluted.*

Treatment with RMC Universal Maintenance Oil can easily be carried out without prior professional knowledge.

Eliminate all dirt and dust from the surface.
Clean the surface thoroughly with water and RMC Soap. Rinse well with clean water to remove all soap residue. Leave it to dry completely.

Manual application

Apply the oil with a cloth, stain brush or sponge.
Use very little product to prevent the floor from becoming sticky, keeping in mind that the surface will have to be completely wiped 15 minutes after application.
Each treated area should be wiped dry within 15 minutes with a paper towel or lint-free cotton cloth.
Ensure sufficient ventilation, so that the surface should be dry after 6 to 8 hours.
Clean only with a damp cloth during the first week. Subsequently, cleaning with RMC Soap is allowed.

Mechanical application

Apply the oil with a polisher and a beige pad. Preferably treat areas of 2 to 4 square metres (20 to 40 square feet).
Use very little product to prevent the floor from becoming sticky, keeping in mind that the surface will have to be completely wiped 15 minutes after application.
Each treated area should be wiped dry within 15 minutes with a paper towel or lint-free cotton cloth. If using a polisher, wipe dry using a white pad.
Ensure sufficient ventilation, so that the surface should be dry after 6 to 8 hours.
Clean only with a damp cloth during the first week. Subsequently, cleaning with RMC Soap is allowed.

DANGER OF COMBUSTION - Keep out of reach of children. Materials such as rags used with this product may begin to burn by themselves. After use, put rags in water or lay flat to dry, then discard.
