SURFACE PREPARATION
Make sure surface is free of dirt, mildew, dust, oil and waxes, and is structurally sound and dry. Any loose or peeling previous finish must be removed before application. Clean weathered or dirty wood surfaces with Messmer’s Wood & Deck Cleaner (Part A).
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Before applying, this product should be mixed thoroughly. Ensure that all settled material on bottom of can is evenly incorporated, and intermix all containers (box them). Apply Caribbean Extreme when surface temperatures are between 10 °C and 32 °C. If surface is hot to the touch, it is too hot to apply product. Do not apply product if precipitation is expected within 24-48 hours.

Spray application: When spraying, back brush or roll to prevent sags and runs. Cover surrounding areas to protect from overspray. For airless spray, use .013” to .017” tip for best results.

Brush application: To minimize lapping, maintain a wet edge lengthwise and do not break in the middle of boards. One coat is sufficient for most applications.
THINNING RECOMMENDATIONS
Thinning is not recommended.
CLEANUP
Use paint thinner (mineral spirits). Dispose of waste in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
Danger – Rags, steel wool or waste soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after each use, place rags, steel wool or waste in a sealed, water filled metal container.
