Worktop Oil by Les Anciens Ébénistes

Les Anciens Ébénistes’ Worktop Oil is a clear, non greasy oil which nourishes, maintains and protects unvarnished and unwaxed indoors wood surfaces, such as a cutting board or a butcher’s block.

Formulated from natural vegetable oils, Worktop Oil will add moisture and stain protection to your wood surfaces while allowing them to breathe.

How to use

Preparation:

Ensure that the wood surface is dry and clean. Use gloves. Mix the can well before use, and mix with the help of a spatula.

Application:

Apply the oil generously using either a cotton rag or a polishing cotton, while following the wood grain.
Wipe the excess oil with a clean cotton rag or polishing cotton, and let dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
Rub the surface with #000 Steel Wool to smooth it.
Wipe the surface clean, and apply a second coat.

Tools: Worktop Oil can be applied with either a Polishing Cotton or a simple cotton rag.
