How to prevent White Haze on Walnut with Osmo Polyx-Oil:

When using Osmo Polyx-Oil on exotic woods or open-grain hardwoods like walnut or mahogany, a faint white haze may sometimes appear. This is a known reaction and can be easily avoided by following a few simple steps.

Start by applying a coat of Osmo Extra Thin Wood Wax Finish. This product works as a grain sealer, helping to reduce uneven absorption and minimizing the whitening effect.

Once this initial coat is fully dry, apply one or two coats of Polyx-Oil as your final finish. This will not only protect the wood but also enhance its natural beauty for a rich, even appearance.
