I have used (and loved) Osmo Oil (poly x) to finish some hardwood furniture projects, and am wondering about its suitability for use on pine windows.

I have ordered some Marvin windows (Integrity Wood-Ultrex) and the interior frames, sashes, jambs, and grilles are all bare pine. I need a finish to put on these to protect them. I would like to keep the colour light, but avoid the usual yellowing that happens to pine. The exterior of the windows are fibreglass and don't need any treatment.

I am considering Osmo oil for this application and wondered if anyone has tried this before.

We can not guarantee 100%, the Polyx is very resistant and yellowed very little over the years.

We can recommend the Prato-Verde Natural Secono Mono product that will not yellow the wood.
