Description
Based on methylene chloride and enhanced with granules that detect various coatings applied to furniture, metal, wood, and concrete over time. While conventional paint strippers, even of excellent quality, perform best on surfaces coated with oil-based paint or varnish, Surf-Pro's exclusive process integrates previously incompatible solvents into this gel. This innovation ensures maximum stripping efficiency in a short time with minimal inconvenience.
Usage
-
Apply with a bristle brush on the surface to be stripped. The action time of the Stripper is at least 15 minutes, as the special solvents need sufficient time to work effectively. During this period, the Stripper removes layer by layer, transferring them into its gel. Once ready, use a wooden or metal scraper to remove the accumulated layers of coatings.
-
For crystallized surfaces (where varnish has been applied for many years), light sanding is the ideal method to save time and reduce Stripper consumption. This allows the Stripper to penetrate more quickly, breaking the varnish’s hardened effect.
-
Neutralization: Since the Stripper evaporates very slowly, it must be neutralized with methyl hydrate (wood alcohol). The Stripper reacts to this solvent, stopping its action immediately. Additionally, methyl hydrate evaporates by 99%, leaving no residue. This is particularly useful when recoating the stripped surface, such as with a stain.
