Preparation:

• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of wax, grease, dirt and dust.
• New Wood: Sand to obtain a uniform and smooth surface.
• Varnished wood: Sand to get a good grip. If the varnish is peeling, strip and refurbish.
• Wood stains can be used to tint new or bare wood before applying the varnish.
• Mix the varnish with a stick. Do not mix by shaking the container.

Application:

• Varnish and room temperature should be between 15 and 30°C during application. Relative humidity should be between 30% and 80%.
• The varnish can be applied with a brush, roller, application pad or paint gun. Apply 2 or 3 layers evenly in the direction of the wood fibers, and sand lightly between coats. Do not use steel wool.
• Allow the surface to dry completely and wait 7 to 10 days before cleaning.

Drying time:

• Drying time between coats: 2-3 hours at 20°C et 50% relative humidity. The time will vary depending on the ambient temperature and relative humidity.
• Curing time: Allow 24 hours after application of the last coat before allowing light traffic.
• The hardening process takes 7 to 10 days (75% cured after one day, 90% cured after 3 days). Put the carpets back after a week.
