Walnut Stain is a wood stain into crystals that can be applied easily on most wood species. Walnut Stain gives wood antique dark tone going from clear walnut to very dark walnut. Walnut Stain needs to be diluted with lukewarm water and can be used with or without a mordant.

Walnut Stain is composed from Cassel extract, most known as lignite. Genuine walnut stains are composed from crushed walnut scales and are very less convenient and easy to use as Cassel extract can be.

Directions of use

Preparation : The wood needs to be sanded with 120 grit, clean and dust free. In 1 liter of tepid water, add 15 g (2 tablespoons) of Walnut Stain, mix well until there are no more solid grains. For a darker stain, increase the amount of Walnut Stain, making sure not exceeding 150 g (1 cup) per liter of water.

Application : Apply with a stain pad, a stain applicator or a foam brush uniformly and generously on all the surface to finish. Wipe rapidly all the excess with a rag. Let dry for 2 to 3 hours.

If breathed in, move person to fresh air.
