Can uv epoxy be sanded and polished to remove dirt specks and if so what is the product and procedure

Yes it can.

In order to remove specks of dirt from the UVpoxy, you must sand using different grit paper. Starting with 1000 then 1200 then 1500 finishing with 2000 grit sanding paper.

Afterwards you can polish using a rubbing compound such as Poly-Buf by Mohawk. Beginning with the Fine grade and ending with the Extra Fine grade.
