Hello everyone!
I am reaching out to seek your expert advice on an issue that has recently come to my attention regarding a cherished piece of antique wooden furniture in my possession. Unfortunately, the piece has suffered from water damage, and I am concerned about the best approach to restore it without compromising its original finish or value.
The damage appears to be primarily on the surface, with some areas showing signs of water rings and cloudy spots. However, I am worried there might be more extensive damage that isn't immediately visible. Given the age and sentimental value of the furniture, it's crucial for me to handle the restoration process with the utmost care.
What are the most effective methods for repairing water damage on antique wooden furniture, while preserving its original finish and value?
