Metallic Colour Pigments are special effect pigments composed of mica nano-particles coated with various organic and inorganic pigments to create pearlescent and iridescent effects that mimic the natural look of stone and rock formations.
These unique pigments are designed to be blended with EcoPoxy 100% solids clear epoxy. When the metallic particles are mixed with epoxy they give the coating a shine that reflects light and creates dramatic eye-catching color.
There are no set rules for applying these pigments, as they are merely a creative component to the overall system.

When using a filling epoxy such as FlowCast, it is very fluid and takes about 48 hours to cure in the mold. During this period, the metallic pigments you added to your mixture may settle at the bottom of the mold.
However, before the epoxy starts to harden (around 24 hours), you can easily stir gently with a small stick to restore the desired effects. You can also gently agitate to create effects until the epoxy starts to cure.
