It’s possible to keep the natural color of Cedar used in the interior.

Commonly, Cedar is used for paneling or ceiling cladding.

To avoid applying water based varnish, it’s possible to use a wall and ceiling oil like Brio, that will keep the natural color of Cedar.

Here’s how to proceed.

Sand the wood using a 120 grit sandpaper.

Prepare in a container one part of natural Brio and one part of white Brio.

Mix well these two oils using a stick.

Apply a coat of mixed Brio using a cotton rag or a stain pad.

Let penetrate for 5 to 15 minutes and wipe all the excess.

Let dry for 24 hours.
