Hi, I am new to the Target EM6500. I would like to finish a bed set with the EM6500 and use a glaze to enhance the look. Target does not seem to cover the use of a glaze?? What glaze (product) would you recommend, and would the application be EM6500/Glaze/Clear coat?

Also, would you recommend using the Target primer/filler, and what clear would be best to use?

Finally, I will be using a Fuji Semi-Pro2 gravity. Any suggestion on tip sizes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Joe

Hello Joe,

Normally to finish with glaze, we recommend two coats of HFS5000 white, followed with two coats of EM6500; afterwards you apply your glaze, once dry, you finish with two coats of Superclear 9000 to protect everything.

We do not sell glaze but you can check with a paint dealer to get a glaze in the color of your choice.

You should use 1.8 mm for coloured products and 1.6 mm for clear products.

Thank you, Ren'e.

Exactly the info I was looking for, right down to tip sizes. Been trying to email Jeff @ Target for over a week to get the same info. He must be in the Bahamas vacationing...
