I need lacquer finish on my cabinets' doors and sides. What is the best way to use Mohawk pre-catalyzed white gloss lacquer on MDF? Does this lacquer melt the plastic if I use my spray gun made of plastic material? Which mohawk sealer should I use to stop MDF pores keep appearing even after the final finish?
Thanks

Hi,

As the products are waterbased there is no danger of the plastic melting.

It is recommended to apply 2 coats of the Ardec Proprime - Pigmented Sanding Sealer then 2 coats of the Mohawk Waterborne Pre-Catalyzed Lacquer.

Always follow manufacturer instructions for optimal results.

Hope this helps!
