I’m wondering if you can repair chipped and scratched wood before staining

Hi,

To get rid of the chips and scratches you would have to sand using 80 and 120 grit paper.

Or you could lightly sand with a 220 grit paper to create adhesion and the chips and scratches will blend into the gel stain.
