Surface Preparation:
Wood surface must be dust-free and dry. For this purpose generally a duster, a mop or a vacuum cleaner is suitable. For the cleaning of frequently high-traffic and dirty flooring, e.g. in public areas, use a mop (as cleaning fluid water mixed with Osmo Wash & Care) and wipe dry afterwards.
Methods of Application:
For stain removal and for intensive maintenance please, use the Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner with a microfibre cloth or a coton cloth (approx. 2 tea spoons per m²). Wipe off especially persistent stains with Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner with a piece of cloth or a scotchpad.
Note: Apply very thinly; otherwise footprints may appear.
Cleaning of Tools:
Oil finish thinner
Drying Time:
Approx. 30-40 minutes
Note:
When applying hard waxes (carnauba wax and candelilla wax), flooring gets refreshed and the resistance to stains and abrasion becomes much better. At regular interval it is absolutely necessary to give the required oil-content of the Polyx Oil back to the flooring within the years. On especially heavily worn areas (walkways etc.), re-apply the Osmo Polyx Oil after careful cleaning of the surface. Note: While the pores of the wood are sufficently saturated with the first treatment, we recommend a single thin re-oiling of the flooring.
Disposal:
Dispose of product residuals and completely emptied containers according to the local official guidelines. Only fully emptied containers can be recycled.
