Preparation:

To optimise the application of both coloured and neutral oils, it is essential to prepare the base with the utmost care, removing all traces of any previous finishing treatment and using a fine grit paper 100/120 last to sand the floor.

Vacuum carefully to remove all traces of dust and/or impurities

Professional Application:

Apply a thin, uniform coat of coloured or neutral Pro.Oil using a roller (black with short hair), brush, pad, trowel or wax spreader.

After about 5/15 minutes, polish using a single disc buffer with a white or beige pad (excessively long intervals may make polishing difficult and in the case of high quantities of product an absorbent cloth must be placed under the disc to soak up the excess oil).

Pro.Oil may also be applied directly using a single disc buffer and a white or beige disc, adding small quantities of product to the centre of the pad and massaging until it is spread evenly.

After 12/24 hours, the finishing coat of Fix.Oil can be applied.

Manual Application:

Apply with a paint applicator, cotton rags or a stain pad. After 5 to 15 minutes, wipe off with a cloth any excessive oil. After 12/24 hours the Fix.Oil topcoat can be applied using the same technique as for the Pro.Oil.

Notes:

Floors treated with Pro.Oil must always be finished with highly resistant finishing oil Fix.Oil
