Determine the required quantity of Procat based on the type of water-based coating and the quantity to be catalyzed.
For a concentration of 5% (Polyclear, Polyseal and Polywhite):
- 946 ml of coating: 45ml
- 3.78 L of coating: 190ml
- 18.9 L of coating: 946ml
For a concentration of 2.5% (Proprime):
- 946 ml of coating: 24 ml
- 3.78 L of coating: 95 ml
- 18.9 L of coating: 473 ml
Gently mix the chosen water-based coating while slowly adding the pre-measured amount of Procat. Keep gently mixing the crosslinking coating / catalyst mixture for 5 minutes. Allow the mixture to react for a minimum of 30 minutes before using.
For best results, mix 2 to 4 hours before application. This will ensure optimal catalyst reaction time and performance of the mixture when applied with a brush or spray.
