Preparation
Stir thoroughly to mix. Do not shake. Sand raw wood with 180 grit sandpaper and remove dust. If stained, allow it to dry completely.
Application
Apply Rockhard™ Waterborne Brushing Varnish with a high quality synthetic bristle brush or sponge brush in even uniform coats. Brush in the direction of the wood grain when possible. Overlap each stroke and allow material to flow. Do not over brush. Allow each coat to dry a minimum of 1 hour before recoating or longer in cool and humid conditions. Scuff sand between coats using 320 grit stearated sand paper and remove sanding dust for proper adhesion. Apply a minimum of 3 coats over new wood. Allow final coat to dry a minimum of 3 days before subjecting finish to normal use. If the finish is to be sanded and rubbed additional coats may be required. Dry a minimum of one week before rubbing finish.
Cleanup
Warm soapy water.
