EcoPoxy FlowCast Casting Epoxy is ideal for woodworking such as river tables, ocean tables and any other deep pour applications.

EcoPoxy FlowCast is a high performance, commercial grade epoxy that cures to a clear, UV resistant glass-like finish that resists scratching and yellowing.

FlowCast Epoxy is also perfect for casting and see-through encapsulation, accentuating and magnifying the objects within. It can be poured up to 1.5 inches depending on volume and cures to a water-like appearance.

FlowCast is a 100%-solids, two-component epoxy formulated for a long gel time. It has low exothermic heat buildup and cures to a crystal-clear solid that resists stress cracking.

  • Ideal for woodworking such as river tables
  • Low Exotherm, allowing for pours up 1½" thick
  • 100% Solids, no VOC's, Low odor
  • Crystal Clear, High Gloss
  • Self-Leveling
  • Extremely Durable and Impact Resistant
  • Low Viscosity, Excellent bubble Release Qualities
  • Excellent Color Stability

FlowCast Casting Epoxy is not recommended for thin applications or coating. Using UVPoxy Clear Coating Epoxy is recommended for this kind of application.

FlowCast kits contain 2 parts resin and 1 part hardener. e.g. the 6 L kit contains 4 L resin and 2 L hardener.

Directions for Use

Mixing Instructions:

In a clean, dry container; combine (by volume) 2 parts resin with 1 part hardener, and mix thoroughly for 5 minutes. Add color pigments or metallic pigments as desired and mix until evenly disperesed.

Application Instructions:

Working area should be clean, dry, and free of dust and insects. FlowCast can be poured 12-38 mm thick (1/2" - 1.5") per layer. The chemical reaction of curing epoxy releases heat - For pours of 12L volume or more, multiple thinner layers/pours may be necessary to prevent overheating. Fans blowing across the curing epoxy are also strongly recommended to help dissipate heat.

  • For best adhesion between layers, wait 25 - 48 hours between pours (until the previous layer has set but is still tacky). If the previous layer is no longer tacky, sand with 220 grit sandpaper and wipe down before pouring another layer.
  • FlowCast will not shrink while curing under normal conditions. However, it may slowly fill cracks and voids in your mold, causing the level to drop. Be prepared to add more epoxy as needed.

FAQ

Is it possible to pour Flowcast epoxy on UVPoxy?

Absolutely, as long as your UVPoxy is fully cured. You just need to lightly sand it with 220 grit sandpaper and clean the dust thoroughly. Then, you can pour your Flowcast epoxy without any problems. The reverse scenario is also possible.

How to prevent pigment sedimentation in FlowCast epoxy?

When using a filling epoxy like FlowCast, it is very fluid and takes about 48 hours to cure in the mold. During this period, the Metallic Pigments you added to your mixture may settle at the bottom of the mold.

However, before the epoxy starts to harden (around 24 hours), you can easily stir gently with a small stick to restore the desired effects. You can also gently agitate to create effects until the epoxy starts to cure.

never had a bad pour with this. I have done rivers, tops, coasters, filled in cracks and lots of experiments. Take your time, read the instructions and take your time.

Great costumer service!

Rob Robinson · Sep 4, 2021

I am super happy with the service I got! I made a mistake when I ordered, it was after normal business hours but I called the number and left a message. The next morning Madeline called we and was able to correct the problem for me quickly and in a pleasant and professional manner. Even when the product was delivered, only one box was dropped instead of two, I called again to explain what happened, and Madeline said she would check into it ( in the mean time the driver realized his mistake and dropped the second box). So I called again and left a message saying the driver had just dropped the second box. Shortly after I a received a call back thanking me for letting them know the second package was dropped off.
This level of customer service is rare in business today. Fantastic job!

What an amazing product!

Yury Bodnaruk · Feb 2, 2021

This stuff is amazing. Has very little odor, cured crystal clear and does a great job of eliminating bubbles. Use of heat gun is still required for the first hour. Very important to keep let it cure at the proper ambient temperature.

This is now my go to epoxy for anything!
