LiquidWood Epoxy Wood Consolidant by Abatron

LiquidWood strengthens decayed wood indoors and outdoors, structural and decorative. Use on buildings, boats, windows, columns, decks, and any wooden architectural elements. LiquidWood can also be used as a primer for WoodEpox®.

LiquidWood epoxy consolidant permanently restores structural strength and durability to rotted, decayed, or dried out wood.

LiquidWood penetrates deeply into wood fibers to solidify deteriorated wood without the need to remove and cut out the areas that can be effectively consolidated.

With LiquidWood, a piece of deteriorated wood that could crumble under finger pressure can be restored to rigid, high-strength, durable, water and weather-resistant wood.

Treated wood can be: sawed, planed, drilled, nailed, painted, routed, or sanded.

Directions for Use

Important: The practical application temperatures are above 50°F (10 °C). The preferred temperature range is 60-90°F (16 à 32 °C).

Apply to clean and dry surface after removing contaminants, oil, grease,
wax, old paint and debris.
Mix a volume of LiquidWood A with an equal volume of LiquidWood B for at least one minute with blade or paddle.
Apply LiquidWood mix to deteriorated wood by brushing, pouring or injecting.
For deeper penetration into wood, drill small holes through side grain and across end grain, and pour LiquidWood into holes. Repeat process until wood is saturated.
Mix thoroughly a volume of WoodEpox A with an equal volume of WoodEpox B.
Apply WoodEpox to wood primed with LiquidWood while LiquidWood is still "tacky" to fill cracks, holes and replace missing wood.
Sand, plane, shape, paint and stain restored wood as desired.
