Is it possible to breathe new life to colonial bedroom furniture from the 80s without having to completely strip it?

Before throwing away and replacing your old colonial furniture from the 80s, it's best to recycle, revamp, renovate, or rejuvenate it with the many quality products available today. The days when wooden furniture was painted with leftover white oil paint thinned with turpentine to paint the kitchen are long gone!

You can start by cleaning the furniture with TSP, lightly sanding it with a 220-grit sandpaper to create adhesion, and then applying 2 coats of Fusion Mineral Paint to give it a new look. With a choice of 60 paint colors, Metallic Paints, Waxes, and products to create stencil patterns, the possibilities are almost endless.

For less than $70, you can easily transform several small furniture pieces or objects. It is recommended to apply one or two coats of varnish or protective oil to ensure stain resistance and ease of maintenance.

If you don't have any furniture to paint, you can always use a decorative object from your home, as Fusion paint adheres to all surfaces.
