How should I maintain my oiled kitchen cabinets?
Although an oiled finish on kitchen cabinets is very durable, it is not eternal. It is recommended to clean the oiled finish once or twice a year using a soap specially designed for this type of finish. It is also advisable to apply a protector or maintenance oil recommended by the manufacturer of the oil used for the cabinets. After a few years, it is strongly recommended to apply a new coat of protective oil to give the finish a new look.
