Here’s how to use the Carbamex Wax to obtain stunning results.

This technique is prescribed for open wood grain, like : Oak, Mahogany, Ash...

Use a sealer as a primer coat. It can be either a blond or orange shellac, a very diluted varnish or an oil.

Apply a coat of sealer and a second coat if needed. Let dry well.

Slightly sand using a 400 grit sandpaper or a steel wool # 0000.

Apply a coat of Carbamex colored wax to enhance the wood grain.

Wait 24 hours and apply a second coat.

After 24 to 48 hours, using a polishing brush, vigorously brush all the wood surface.

Finish by passing a wool rag to polish all the sheen of the wax.
