I would love to use flour paint on exterior wood, but my daughter is gluten sensitive. Is it possible to replace wheat or rye flour with a different flour? Buckwheat or oats maybe?
If not, what other wood finish for wooden house walls, wooden windows and shutters that is environmentally sustainable should I look into?
That's me again, and no answer yet... :(
Would rice flour work? Is starch enough, or this paint really requires gluten to make the paint stick?
Sorry we can not offer an alternative.
Perhaps you could contact Color Rare as they specialize in this type of paint.
Thank you, I will contact them.
