I jave searched in many technical sheet but haven't been able to confirm this info. I a video O saw that you should not use use the em6500 over the sanding sealer em1000.

my goal here is to use dilute the sealer 1:1 with water to use as a prestain and let it dry/cure for > 24h apply the stain then use the em6500 as a light toner coat.

Is it really that problematic and if so why?

Normally a primer would be applied before the EM6500.

If you wish to use the EM6500 as a light toner then you would need to dilute the EM6500.
