I am building a raised vegetable garden! Is it safe to use Tung oil to preserve the wood on the inside?

Yes Tung Oil can be used for the interior of the boxes.

However, the outside of the boxes should also be protected. You will require a product with UV protection as well as protection against insects and mold.

We can suggest the Pareo Zero by Prato Verde. A safe oil emulsion with zero solvant and low VOC's that would be great for your project! We always recommend choosing with a color pigment for added UV protection.

Can I mix some with Talbot stain for the outside? Also can. I a a little paint thinner if I need a little more. Again it's for a vegetable garden.
