Rubio Monocoat Wood Prep is a preparatory cleaner for cleaning all types of wood. This product removes residues from sanding dust, minimises sanding errors and reduces wood type-related tannins and oils.

Sanding errors and any small scratches are minimised;
Improves the intensity of the coloured Rubio Monocoat finishing oil through better pigment absorption;
Tannins in the wood are reduced, decreasing the chance of discoloration;
Improves adhesion to naturally waxy and oil-rich wood types;

Directions of use

Thoroughly vacuum the surface to be treated;
Distribute the WoodPrep evenly on the surface with the tool of your choice (applicator, stain pad, stain brush, cotton rag or mohair or microfiber roll. It is important that no untreated spots are left, as this would cause the surface to be cloudy or uneven afterwards;
Carefully wipe down with the Rubio Monocoat Microfiber Pad lengthwise, in the direction of the wood grain, so that any little puddles get distributed evenly;
Let the treated surface dry completely, until it looks and feels evenly dry. In doubt, wait until the next morning to apply the finishing product.
Apply the Rubio Monocoat finishing of your choice.
