RMC Cleaner by Rubio Monocoat is a wood preparation cleaning product which is used to carry out a deep cleaning of wooden surfaces after their preparation (sanding and vacuuming). This is the first step before treating the wood with Rubio Monocoat finishing oil, in order to ensure an impeccable result.

RMC Cleaner removes the finest particles of dust and can also be used to clean used accessories during Rubio Monocoat Oil application.

Why use Rubio Monocoat Cleaner? The revolutionary technology of Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus uses molecular reactions to ensure that the oil bonds with the wood fibres within 15 seconds. If there is dust on the surface, the oil will bond with the dust. As a result, when spreading the oil with the white pad, a microscopic paste will form on the surface. The oil will have bonded with the dust instead of with the wood fibres.

Directions of Use

Sand and vacuum the surface in the appropriate manner;
Clean the surface with Rubio Monocoat Cleaner;
Allow the wood to dry until it regains its original aspect.
The cloth should only be slightly damped with Rubio Monocoat Cleaner. In that way the dust will be collected electrostatically.
Drying time : 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the quantity of product that has been used to wet the surface.
