Preparation
From Bare wood, finest results are obtained by applying this finish over a build-up of three coats (interior) or five coats (exterior) of Epifanes Woodfinish Gloss or Epifanes Clear High Gloss Varnish.
Application
- Prior to application, clean and sand the surface carefully.
- Stir contents.
- Apply one thin coat, and let dry at least 12 hours, and less than 72 hours if you want to avoid sanding before the second (optional) coat.
- Apply second thin, even coat (optional).
Maintenance
When a deterioration in the appearance of the finish is noticed, sand the surface with 320 grit wet or dry abrasive paper and apply one or two fresh coats.
