Aqua First AD is a single component high solid waterborne sealer with S-XL system (Self Cross-Linking System), featuring an excellent filling capacity, fast drying time and good shading of the wood.

Aqua First AD stands out for its considerable filling and insulating capacity which, together with its exceptional coverage, allows coating cycles, in combination with the Vermeister two component water based finishes, to be completed in just two coats.

The rapid drying (sanding) and the good shading on wood complete the features of a high performance single component sealer.

Directions for use

Sand and fill the floor using a 120 grit mesh for the finish. To fill the floor, Vermeister Zero Filler can be used. Mix the product well and apply a first, even coat. To ensure the application is uniform, the first coat should be applied against the grain and then crossed and spread in the direction of the grain of wood.

After 6 hours the floor can be sanded with an abrasive (150-180), vacuumed and then coated again with Vermeister waterborne finishes.

Aqua First AD can be applied without having to sand it.

After complete evaporation, and when physically dry (dry to the touch), apply two coats of Vermeister waterborne finish, sanding lightly between one coat and the other.

  • If the product is used on exotic and/or little known woods, it is always advisable to carry out some preliminary tests as in some cases (e.g. on IPE LAPACHO) the application of waterborne products may cause a considerable reddening of the film.
  • Do not replace any leftover product in the container
-Do not apply the product below 10°C or above 30°C.
  • Stir well before use
  • Store above freezing
