The Procat crosslinking catalyst will remain active for a period of 5 days. After this period, the prepared solution will still be usable, but the catalyst will no longer be effective.

You can continue to use the lacquer as if it had never been catalyzed. If you want to apply the catalyst again, you will need to mix 30% of this already catalyzed lacquer with 70% of non-catalyzed lacquer, and then add 5% of the volume of Procat. The process is the same for all Ardec Italian lacquer products, such as Polyclear, Polywhite, and Polyseal. For Proprime, the recipe is the same, but you will only need to add 2.5% of the catalyst. With Ardec lacquers, there is no product waste!
