I have a covered deck with cedar decking. I want to keep the natural look of the wood but read that Monocoat colours pure/natural/white will still allow the wood to show greying on horizontal surfaces.
1-is the fact the the deck is covered going to prevent greying? It really doesn’t get that much direct sunlight
The decking being covered may help keep greying at bay. However, it is not just the sun that greys the wood it is also the rain and snow, weather in general.
