Preparation: To insure surfaces are clean of all grease and oils and smooth enough for finishing, sand all surfaces with the grain using #120 and finishing with #220 grit paper. Remove dust.
Application:
- Stir well prior to use.
- Apply a thin, even coat of Wood Turners Finish with a poly foam brush or good quality bristle brush.
- Use a clean cotton rag or heavy paper towel for wipe on finish. Nylon stocking material also works well. wiping out the excess.
- It is recommended to buff between each coat with 400-600 grit sanding pads. Remove dust before recoating.
- Apply multiple thin coats to build desired finish.

Final coat can be buffed to high gloss using super fine to ultra fine sanding pads.

General Finishes Wood Turners Finish can be sprayed through compressed air gun, airbrush, or HVLP. Strain material through fine mesh filter. Spray medium to wet coats allowing finish to dry 30 minutes before If using an airbrush, reduce material 1:1 with water.
Dry Time: Wood Turners Finish cures through oxidation like a traditional oil base finish. Thin coats will dry in as little as 30 minutes. Applying heavier coats will take up to 1 hour before recoating. Allow final product to dry for 5-7 days before use with Salad Bowls.
MAY IRRITATE EYES. DANGEROUS FUMES FORM WHEN MIXED WITH OTHER PRODUCTS. Do not mix with bleach, other oxidizers, acids or bases. Do not get in eyes. Keep out of reach of children. If in eyes, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. If on skin, rinse well with water.
