Application
Before proceeding with the application, the surface must be treated with a Vermeister waterborne sealer. Alternatively, the product may be applied as a first coat. Stir the finish well and apply a first, even coat.
To guarantee the application is uniform, the first coat should be applied against the grain and then crossed and spread in the direction of the grain of the wood. After 4 hours the floor can be sanded with an abrasive 180-220 grit, vacuumed and then coated again with the same product.
Notes
- The application of single component waterborne products on solvent based sealers and finishes may lead to separation if the sanding operation is carried out too lightly. In these cases, use of two component waterborne finishes from the Vermeister range is recommended.
- If the product is used on exotic and/or little known woods, it is always advisable to carry out some preliminary tests as in some cases (e.g. on IPE LAPACHO) the application of waterborne products directly on the wood or on sealers that are not perfectly insulating, may cause a considerable reddening of the film.
- Do not apply the product below 10°C or above 30°C.
- Do not replace any leftover product in the container!
- Stir well before use
- Store above freezing
- Product subject to the restrictions prescribed by EC Directive 2004/42.
