Fuji Spray® has designed a unique method of removing any heat build up from the turbine case. Excess heat is channeled to a Heat Dissipation ChamberTM located at the rear of the case.
Since the hot air is dissipated evenly through an optimum surface area of 60 holes, there is no added hiss or loud whistling noise. There is also no blowing around of debris.
The benefits of a cooler running unit results in a longer life for your turbine motor compared to standard turbines.
The Mini-Mite™ PLATINUM Turbines are equipped with a method to reduce noise. The Noise Reduction Covers™ house the Filters. Ambient air is entrained only from the rear effectively removing any Direct Sound Paths. Air is drawn in through a large Rear Aperture and through specially designed ‘Finger Slots’ for optimum performance.
This control allows the operator to switch from a circular to oval pattern and anywhere in between.
Unlike traditional HVLP turbine spray guns with the front collar adjustment, the Side-Mounted Fan Pattern Control™ offers full incremental fan size throughout the whole range. Located on the left side of the spray gun for convenience, it is easy to adjust: turn counter-clockwise for a smaller pattern and clockwise for larger.
For more material capacity and maneuverability, Fuji Spray's 4 and 5 stage HVLP turbines can be used with a 2 Qt. Pressure Pot.

I'm new to spraying and wanted a quality turbine for cabinet refinishing. The latitude of adjustments on this unit and G-XPC spray gun allowed me to dial in a quality finish. Worth the extra money.

My decision to purchase the Fuji Spray came down to size. Bigger does not always mean better. I was at a crossroads, compressor vs. turbine, and in the end I wanted a system that would do the job without the hassle of a large tank air compressor. My use case is mostly automotive painting but to get my feet wet I started with some simple stain. With little fiddling I was able to get a good result. Cleanup was easy. The documentation was very helpful and there are plenty of videos to help guide you. Everything was well packaged and Ardec customer service is wonderful. They are quick to follow up and help out. Everything arrived as expected. Machine is heavy and feels well built. The spray gun and fittings feel solid and sturdy. Looking forward to many hours of use!

I am a total DIY and the finish I was able to achieve with this unit was amazing, I purchased the Mini mite 5 platinum in June and Ardec shipped it within a few days to my door, great delivery services on their end! Package was in mint condition as well
I waited a few months to review so I can give it a good try, Ive been using Kem Aqua surfacer, Kem Aqua plus , Kem Aqua pigmented lacquer and the result were simply amazing. Took me a few try to dial everything correctly but once you nail the settings its actually a breeze to use. The unit I went with came with the G-XPC gun, works great in tight area, just wish the capacity was a tad bigger but its quick to do a refill.They say to put the unit far from the work area , mine sits outside while I paint in the garage and the sound level is quite low.
Cleaning is easy and quick as well!

Excellent system! I knew nothing about spraying 2 weeks ago and here I am, spraying a lot of cabinet doors and kitchen fronts for my new kitchen.
The gun is extremely easy to clean, it takes me ~5 minutes to clean all the parts (I'm using a pre catalyzed lacquer that doesn't require solvent to clean, only warm soapy water). That was my biggest concern with a system like this and I'm glad to realize that it's not an issue at all. #FujiSpray

A really nice spray system. Have sprayed lacquer as well as some latex paint. It would be nice if the fan pattern control dial didn't adjust quite as quickly to make it easier to get the right pattern. #FujiSpray

This is a very well built system and all the components are top notch. The flexible hose extension makes operation easier. Some tweaking is required to get the spray right but worth the result. Very pleased with the customer service at Ardec and shipping was fast. #Fujispray

I just received the Mini-mite 5, this was my first experience with a spray system. I am extremely pleased with the result. It is simple to use, to adjust and to get the perfect finish that you are looking for.
I would recommend to any serious hobby woodworker.

First off, shipping was much faster than expected. The entire system and accessories were well packaged and all the parts from the hose to the gun to the turbine are solidly built and top quality. I'm upgrading from an entry level HVLP system from another manufacturer and I look forward to the added PSI these turbines will put out. That, combined with the ease of adjustments built into the gun are what sold me on Fuji.
